Character riggs pivot point follow Character?

Does anyone know if there's a way to have the character riggs group nodes pivot point follow the character.
I've grouped all the control objects and IK's so I can move the character and all will follow.I press play and the character walks from were ever I put him, all good.
The problem comes when I want the character to make a turn, since the character walks away from it's group pivot point. Hence the pivot point isn't where the character is unless I'm on frame 0.

I just select the group at the last frame before hes going to turn and hit incert and move the pivot of the group back in the center of you character for the turn. Just make sure you set a keyon the last frame with the new pivote point before you really start the turn.

yeah, if only one turn.

Cheers.
Yea, that seems to work if there's only one turn, but if I want to make another turn after, the pivot dont move back to it's previous
keyframe instead the turn will be from the last keyed pivot.
Apparently there is a way to make the pivot point keyable (channel control) but when I translate and set keys it moves the content of the group as well, as if translating the group and not the just the pivot point. Maybe I have to make a counter translate of the group. Seems a bit clumpsy to do it that way though.
Thanks anyway.
