Making a polygon from selected vertices
I'm coming from Lightwave, in the modeler you use "p" to do this.
Is there a similar function in Maya? that is, select vertices and make a polygon from them. |
I was wondering this too.
How does it work in Lightwave? Connecting the closest verts? Wait. There isn't a create vertex tool. Nevermind! You can Loft curves together, though! Note: If you use Firefox, this tutorial might not work. |
In Lightwave, it connects the vertices in the order they were selected.

Hold V and it snaps to vertexes... which really only come up when they're already attached to polygons.
