Nov/Dec Final NORMAL Entries!

Because of the holidays, I'm putting the threads up a bit early.

Post your finals here! Only final entries, please. If you'd like to comment on them, please do so at their original thread.

Final entries that are attached to the forum should be no larger than 640x480. If you'd like to post larger images, please link to them from your own hosting. Feel free to post wires, texture maps, etc and describe your entry. Make sure you post some sort of photograph of your chosen object so that we can get a nice comparison.

Only images posted in the final entry threads will be considered up for the final judging.

Thanks!

I guess I'll be the first to post an entry.

Here's some links to more images. I tried to break it down into nice categories for easy viewing. I know some people don't like high res shots because of the awkward viewing constraints of a small monitor, so hopefully everyone will be able to see all the details.

3 more shots at 640x480 resolution showing different angles:

Finally, 2 reference shots (best I could find):

And my shot for the actual thread:

Had a great time working for this competition, and learned a bunch along the way. Good luck to all the other entries.

Hi Guys,

This is the original Model and Radio Control.
http://www.alphalink.com.au/~bmsweb/trout/Orig.jpg

I didn't put on the stickers because I think it really doesn't do anything for the model. The image size is 800 x 384 which is the same pixel count as 640 x 480. I know the Radio still isn't close enough to the camera for most peoples taste, but the V-Tail plane is supposed to be the main model.

All The Best for the New Year Guys and good luck to all.

First let me say I really enjoyed this challenge and the standard of entries is incredible.Goodluck to all that participated.

Here are just a couple of references ,I don't have an exact reference for the model as there are many model numbers but here are two variations of the same model the one on the right being a replica has a cd changer so not entirely accurate to my model.

better get this one in quick ;)
This is a model of a light coloured cello (light coloured versions are not that common). Final renders are using mental ray with mostly the default settings, final gather turned on and and a generic HDRI.

Final entry- 480x640 (will attach it to the bottom of this posting too):
