joshmanlegoman 05-05-2009 05:23 PM

murambi 07-05-2009 03:05 PM

oh no it will be a while longer before i start to think about renders

Mayaniac 09-05-2009 04:20 PM

Very cool!

There are some lumps here and there, especially towards the rear of the car, shouldn't take much to smooth them out.
Also, some of the edges are a little under-beveled, while other are over-beveled.

Very good modeling thus far though!

Nice car, did you start with nurbs?

Mayaniac 01-06-2009 09:10 PM

Looks good! Turn on secondary diffuse bounces to get rid of those dark patches on the rear end. Or turn up the Final gather.

Looks pretty good. The color has too much orange in it. Might want to change the base, and highlight colors a bit... if you using the Mental Ray paint shader.

was just a test render through in mi_car_ paint shader and rendered with an hdri map just wanted to see a glimpse of how the final image might look like
