How can I simulate the explosion of a plane?
 

Hi!
Can someone tell me how to make an object explode? I know how to make an exploding fireball and so on, but how do I let explode an object...

You'd more than likely create shrapnel and debris models and animate them individually, with dynamics, or using particle instancing...

I smell an explosion/compositing fx tut coming on! hehe
