Both wrists buggered now:(
 

My specialist reckons i have a degenerative form of arthritis in both wrists, having checked me out since my right wrist is now giving me probs following the 2 ops on my left.
It's down to busting then both in my 20's & working in a -25C environment for the subsequent next five years. Seems the severe cold harmed the tissue that was damaged & it never recovered properly.

No gaming from now on:(
Dunno how i'll go on with the mouse, but it's 5 minutes then rest for the next hour. So i get 10 mins per hour using both.

Anyone any ideas??

Well, you could try using a Wacom tablet instead of a mouse. Might be more relaxing on your wrists. There's also an interesting mouse that a friend of mine showed me:

Might be something to consider.

Have you tried a pen and tablet to see if it's less strain? You can use a voice program for a lot of things....but sadly I don't think Maya is one of them.

I think it has to be a tablet. I spent an hour in PCWorld trying different mice with no luck. It's the tensing of the muscles setting it off.
