Chef Ramsay Tutorial

I recently bought and downloaded the Chef Ramsay tutorial and in the very beginning on part 2, he spins 2 faces from a MEL script. Can anyone help me on how I can do this so I can follow along in the tutorial?

I looked it up online and found the script but when I tried it, it didn't work.

Also, do you know why when I press 3 during polygon modeling, it does not go smooth? I see all these tutorials where they do it and I can never do it myself. Is there a certain setting?

The script again should have been included in the download. It can be found on the web pretty much on all the good sites. Just google it.

It should work, as Ive been using it since Version 6 of Maya, it still works on 2008

cheers
Jay

I think the poly smooth preview was introduced in a 2008 or something like that. (2, 3 on keyboard)

Jay,

It was not included in the download. Is there a way I can get a little help with how to write the script and add it to the shelf and how to use it.

the link leads you to a forum where the last post is from the author of the script. Follow it to his site under blog and CG-Scripts. You will find it or go:

http://www.knower.it/dblog/storico.asp?s=CG+-+Scripts

there you go.

Thank you Archania. That is exactly what I was looking for.
