Simple problem?

Hello everyone, I'm new to Maya (using 4.0) and seem to have lost the menu in each view pane that has "view", "shading", "lighting", "show" and "panels" as the top menus. I am guessing this is really simple to solve but I just cannot figure out where to go to turn the menus on again.
Thanks in advance for your replies. :) Heres a little picture to show what menu's I am on about: |
since you are knew to maya... i hope you haven't saved your preferences.. i donno anyother way of this.. but anyway,, goto my documents -> maya -> 4.0 -> and delete the prefs folder.. and then turn on maya again.. everything back to default..
i donno about the real way of doing it... (anyone else?) |
Thanks for the help tariqrf (whoa hard to type that at 1am) that did the trick. :)

Shift-m toggles panel menus. Also, in Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences, you can toggle panel menubars in the Interface catagory.
