Super Villain_Lord Voldemort

It isn't a marvel/ DC Comics character but hey he is pretty evil in my book.
I haven't done anything yet since i just saw Mike stretched the rules a bit.(thanks Mike)

I don't think that i have to write a backstory for this character

More to come

Yeah... he has a great face for this.... would be brilliant to sculpt

gster123 18-06-2009 06:52 AM

Yeah cool idea dude, be a really good one to sculpt up what wight the face than the cloak and all.

funnily enough when i was learning tracking we were lucky enough to practice geometry tracking using a cyslice of his head (minus the nose).

Thanks guys

Did you work on the actual movie Hammer? or was it part of a course which could use the stock material?

Anywho, i just started roughing out the shape, there isn't much detail in it yet, and the eye is a place holder.

My aim is not so much as trying to model Ralph fiennes (not that i can't) but i try to make him according to the description in the book;
.... having very pale skin, a chalk-white, skull-like face, snake-like slits for nostrils, red eyes and cat-like slits for pupils, a skeletally thin body and long, thin hands with unnaturally long fingers.[17] As mentioned in the first chapter of the seventh book, he also has no lips.....

But if i don't like the way he looks by then i will go for the ralph fiennes look :)

honestdom 18-06-2009 09:32 PM

no i never worked on it, we were just allowed to use the model and footage.

I now work for the company that did make it tho :)

thanks guys

I've been fiddling in ZBrush some more to get a bit of a feel for color and looks i made the skull more snakelike but am not entirely sure if i will do this or the Ralph fiennes look(a bit of a dillema between wanting to make something reall or letting the creative juices flow)

gster123 27-06-2009 09:09 PM

Let them juices flow mate! Looking really good

I would probably go down 2 routes, keep the model as it is and do one thats mad and one based on the actual voldermort

anasasis 30-06-2009 01:51 PM

looks great mastone just a little thing i noticed something about the torso isn't quite right the ribs it might be anywayz just something i thought you might want to take a look at

mastone 04-07-2009 06:25 PM

Hi anasasis, you are right about the ribs i was just fiddling with zbrush to get a form.

I have redone his head and fiddled with some color in ZBrush.
I think it looks a bit more proportionate than the previous ones.
I will start with his hands and feet next, then finish up the robes
