Vector Rendering Quads

I want to use the vector render to render out my wireframes. But it triangulates everything (render view only). Anyone know how to make vector renders without it triangulating?

Wireframe rendering?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the Maya Vector Renderer only renders surfaces with triangular faces. There are however a couple of options that would allow you to render quadrilateral faces. First, is by choosing the hardware render buffer - Choose Window; rendering editors; hardware Render buffer. Then in the hardware render buffer window - choose Render; Attributes.
In the Render Modes section, change draw style to Wireframe.

You are able to change some of the settings too, such as background colour and so on.

The other option is to create a custom shader. I have not got round to trying this method out myself but I believe you should be able to find something on the net.
