Top line

I've accidentally hidden the top line in maya 4.5 that contains file, edit, modify etc and can't find it anywhere (UI elements etc). I could just keep holding down spacebar, but find the top line really useful. I don't seem to have Ctrl + key shortcuts without it!
How do I get it back?
