What do you think of this colour?

Personally, the nice light blue look to the site is quite fine IMHO.

but the pink looks nice as well.

I'ts purple I'll save the pink for the gay dating service. Its not for SM :) It's for simplymax

I once had purple pants, and dave had a purple suit :p

It works well. The only thing I do not like is the underline when you are over a selection. A simple color shift would be better I think.

I suggest using a red/maroon color scheme instead.

Oh wait, SimplyLightwave is red, isn't it. How about a tannish/yellow/orange type scheme, then.

Can't say I'm liking purple.

I must admit I'm not a big purple fan. I went through most of the other colors and I couldn't find one that hadn't already been taken.

What about a non color. Gray. ;) Here a shot of the Discreet dark UI. It's slick and elegant, perfect for simply Max. And maybe a dark blue for some highlight areas; or even if it was low enough saturation I would be ok with some purple, but blue or red would be my first choice for a secondary color
