use prerecorded video in a maya scene

Hi
I want to incorperate an existing llive action video in a maya scene, e.g. an open book where a movie is shown instead of text.
Any ideas?

attach the avi video file to a color node, key the video to the scenes time frame, grab jiffy pop, sit back and enjoy.
