Gravis Gamepad

I seem to have some sort of fetish of modeling game controllers....so here's another one. My Gravis Gamepad that I used like 10 years ago for the PC. Model is done. Next UV-mapping.

Finished the UV-mapping. Not totally perfect, but it will do the trick. Next: sleep.

i love it so far!
cant wait for the final, one question, what maxwell material is that? just a standard white diffuse? -Andy |
As usual,
very nice work. I keep on meaning to have a play with Maxwell but I get so caught up in my animation stuff and I've been led to believe that it's more suited to stills due to it's lengthy render times. Take it easy, Mat. |
Cant wait to see this rendered! ;)
|
lol, nice UV map image!
Looks like it’s coming along great, I’ll be watching! |
That is good. i have one sitting in the other room and you've done it spot on. Keep it up :)
|
Thanks guys :)
Joopson: it's just a light grey lambert, AFAIK Maxwell converts a lambert to a standard diffuse, so yes. |

Here's the first decent render. Still some small things to sort out.

Here's a new one. Obiously the bumpmap looks like crap. Think I'm gonna redo the UV-mapping.
|
Why do you need to re-do the UV's? Looks fine to me.
|
looking very nice DJbLAZER, you definitely know how to render things realistically :)
seems a little fuzzy to me though like it could do with a slight sharpening up or a play with the DOF Si |
looking good m8.... bring the angle down more and add more dof
