Modelling birds

Does anyone know of any resources for modelling birds? Specifically, ravens or crows?

I'm sure the basic form, while not easy, is doable with a little work - I was thinking more of how to do feathers in a semi-realistic manner.

Thanks for any info.

I'm also planning to do a raven soon and I think that the most of the work is in the textures.

I don't know a tutorial, but I think you might want to work a lot with transparency/alpha maps for the texture work. For the feathers, just use planes and apply the feather texture and alpha map. That's what I used for wings awhile back for experiment, it wasn't perfect but it looked pretty nice. :)
