HELP... unhide

how do i unhide a shelf or toolbox or things like that i accidently hit "hide shelf" and now i cant find it:(

i found out of it:D
its just clicking window>settings/preferences>preferences

Alternatively, you can go to the menu bar:
Display -> UI Elements -> Shelf
