Hello!
This is a car made in Maya and Photoshop. It's a Volkswagen Tiguan , year 2008. For modelling I have used Maya 2008 and for texturing Photoshop (texture size = 1024x1024 pixels). I wait for your comments , feedback ...

Poly count wise this looks like you have been ultra efficient, the normals look a little bit dodgy though can you post the wires?
It looks as if a couple of edge loops around where the surface changes direction might help the shadowing.

good effort

hey pretty good but if you want to keep it low poly why not use normal maps

the mesh seems to be quite bumpy i would suggest checking out some car modelling tutorials from gnomon workshop and try getting a smooth and evened out model then use the normal maps to display the details that would require high polygon count hope i have explained myself well

Hi maty1
I would listen to murambi he is good at doing cars, cars are not my thing but I did notice some distortion in your mesh but did not know the fix..............dave

The back rear areas make me wince, they need some smoothing out, give it an overpaint to define the topology a bit more.

Thanks guys for the comments.I'll post as soon as possible improvements that will make...

hmm i get the feeling that the car was organically modelled check out some tutorials on hard surface modelling then you will see how better to approach this model and what you need to do to improve it

what is wrong with it? looks good to me. some specularity would be nice.
