is there a shader for this....
 

i want my model to look like a wireframe when i render it as a texture is there a shader that can do this or some other way?

The maya master Dirk Bialluch have made a script called "create wire", which you find here , there is also another way which doesn't take any scripts or plugins nor any other fancy stuff, check it out here
