Okay ya'll started my X-Wing fighter! Going all out with detail! I want George himself to hire me after he sees this! :D
bout 1/2 hour of basic shape tweaking! I'll keep you posted as I go along!

It's true! I've about pulled all my hair out attempting to learn NURBS by trying to model one of those swoop bikes (speeder bikes). Add in working with image planes and my newbiness and it's a total recipe for disaster...Heh.:banghead:

Now if we could just get Undseth to write a book on modeling in Maya... ;)

Hehehe well I have made a stupid X-Wing everytime I learn a new program!... Good news is that I do improve each time! :)
here's what I did so far today! Hopefully there will be more updates added today!

p.s. using lowest rendering options for now.

Okay after seeing undseth do his X-Wing I decided to revamp some stuff THX your Model was inspirational! Now it's still rough and in the begining but just keeping you posted on changes and trying to get back any feedback! :beer:
Fixed back of canopy and started shaping up the hyperdrive generators still needs lots O detail but coming along nicely!

I found the x-wing to be quite of a puzzle. :) Looking forward too see more of your x-wing!
