Some water probz...
Hi there!
Im having some trouble following a water tutorial. Right now I have some blobby particles flowing out of a nurbs cylinder. However, as you may note in the picture below, the particles are "clipping" through the cylinder. I have particle collisions enabled on the cylinder... :( http://www.websmarter.org/necrach/evulmaya.JPG |
It's very likely that they'll do that in your view panels, but that would more than likely go away, depending on your Threshold and Radius settings when you render the image.

Try this tutorial...
A (sortof) friend of mine developed this tutorial that may help you with that issue:)
http://www.geocities.com/jozvex/tuto...rparticle.html It will give you tips on other things as well, such as accumulation etc. Good luck, and I hope I'm not too late! |
Thanks! But even he has the same problem as shown below:
http://www.geocities.com/jozvex/tutorials/filler1.jpg Stupid GeoCrap! You will have to open a new window and copy/paste this addy: http://www.geocities.com/jozvex/tutorials/filler1.jpg It isnt really noticiable when doing liquids, but when I do fog/glow stuff then it shines through :( |
You need to remember that how the particles look in your scene and how they look in a final render are very different...

mtmckinley has the right point here...

Have you tried rendering it yet? Are they still coming through your jar? Just wondering:) Good luck! |
!
Well...water particles, they *sometimes* clip out...but with gaseous substances they always clip!
|
You know...
You know... my girlfriend always says that my gass clips her as well... I wonder if there's a fix:)
Beano 2.0 perhaps? hehe... sorry, couldn't help it:) |
