Hi,

Yesterday, I had jutst a few hours to work in Maya, but I start to model the El Newty Cartoon character :)
So farr I managed in two hours to make only the basic shape of the head :(
Stay tuned if you want to see more... :D

Good start. :) Look kinda like a young Ray Romano. ;) Better see some big bushy eyebrows on the finished one! :D

As you noticed I started to use CPS v3.5 ;) and I have to tell you, it's a great plugin!!!
I have to mention that this is my first plugin, because I never used one until now.
Caligraphics recommended me the CPS…thanks Cali :)
Mike, who’s Ray Romano? And yap I have bushy eyebrows and I’ll put them on the cartoon.
Because it’s a cartoon some elements like eyebrows, eyes, nose, ears, and mouth will be emphasized :) because those are who represents me, or in generally a person, more… ;)

El_Newty: Ray Ramano is a famous comedian here in the States. You may have heard his voice in the movie Ice Age, he played the role of Manfred the wooly mammoth.
You really do look like you could be his brother or something....I get that this was probably a complement from Mike as Ramano is a very likeable guy. (his TV show is called "Everybody Loves Ramond")
I agree with the big eyebrow thing too. Can't wait to see more

Aaaa... I saw the movie Ice Age, very good and funny movie (made with Maya :) )
Now it's clear...Manfred voice is Ramond voice, nice voice (I could say he has a "warm" voice).I don't see hem on TV to notice the likeness, maybe you have some pictures to show me... because now I very curious :)

I hate his parents in his TV show.. they can make me switch channel !! hehehe

:O, mikes a genious.. who would of thought to type in his name and put .com at the end :D. Heheh. For some reason I didnt :(.

HA, HA, HA, now that I saw the guy, I noticed that I know him from TV... :p , but I didn't know what's his name...you know... his not so popular here in Romania...:)
Anyway he's very funny and comic guy.
Now I'm enlightened ;) thanks guys.

And now let's get back to our pourpose... Maya modeling :)

Yesterday I made some updates at my cartoon and here are the pictures...

The first: I managed to make him the eyes and the nose, but as you can see his sad because he has no mouth :(

The second: That's better because now he has a mouth too :)

The third: A tiny little update... I made him the throttle (that's how you say to that bumpiness in the front of the neck area? no?)
