Cylinder Triangles
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys!
From what I've been taught recently, is that you need to have no triangles in your mesh but how do you do that with a cylinder? Do I just leave it? Or start again and create it differently? If so, how? Thanks guys! |
If your mesh is not going to deform during animation say in the case of a character's arm then you'll be fine.
Keeping a clean mesh is important but a few triangles and ngons on non deforming geo are not going to make any difference. Dave :) |
Seriously? Oh wow! I thought it was against the whole modelling rules to even have 1 triangle!
Thanks so much! |

There is most definitely a way to to that but as David said, it isn't a big deal in this case.
