lack of 3 button mouse....

Q1
I have a Razor Copperhead (i know gaming mouse....)

alt + mouse buttons ..... no problem
scroll wheel ... zoom in and out ....

how can I track without the 3rd button ?!?

Im sure its there somewhere I just cant find an option.

Maya PC.

I also have a wacom tablet.... do many people actually use a tablet instead of a mouse ????

I don’t get what you mean in your first question. You have a 3-click mouse.

I use a tablet for texturing. Depending on what I’m texturing, I might use my mouse some, too.

when pressing the `scroll wheel` on the razor - nothing happens in Maya....

I cant get the 3rd button to work..... so cant track... I can asign a macro or key to the button... so `Y` key can be assigned.... but I would rather hold ALT and scroll wheel to track... then hit the other keys... q,w etc but not ideal.

cant seem to find a solution ... any ideas ?

ahhhh !

found it ... had to enable the `universal scrolling` option in the razor software.

working now :)

EDIT: Nevermind.

I have used my tablet with zbrush before, and in photoshop for texturing, but not in maya in general.

I have a scroll wheel on my mouse went to the mouse options on my system and assigned the scroll wheel click to be a middle mouse button and it works fine.
