Sept/Oct - Norm - swankymonkey
This sounds fun! I'd like to model a version of the bird riders from JOUST ... I think.

Hey thanks, VIM!
I've been debating about what angle I wanna take. I think I'm gonna go for a Greek or Roman Gladiator style. I'll post some sketches this weekend. Dave |
Wow.....
Joust... I'd forgotten that game Legend |
OK. Heres my first sketch. Side view for modeling reference of the bird/steed ...

Dude
Hey nice n clean again, and just like the sketch. Regards Jay |
One more ... the model has been smoothed and I painted in the eye just to see how it would look. The collar around the neck is a place holder for the ring for feathers that will occupy the base of the neck ... hi Jay!

Its technically and aesthetically pleasing dude!! I love that head, as its one mesh. If Im not mistaken? That big lazy/shy eye really adds to the character. Keep it going bro!! Jay |
