Maya Vector & Shadows
 

I'm trying frustratingly to figure out how to have some shadows show up on objects when doing Maya Vector renders

my friend did a render in vector and it looked like it had some shadows on parts of some objects. but he didn't do anything supposedly. :-/

anybody use maya vector and know how to manipulate it well?

Maya only really supports point lights with the vector render. Trying setting up a point light with either depth or ray-trace shadows. Should work
