Is there a way to open these exensions?...

Hey guys? Is there any way to open/edit/save ANY of the following extansions?:
.MDL
.OBJ
.3DS
.ASC
.ASE
.B3D
.3DF
.JAW
.LWO
.TXT
.MS3D
.OFF
.RWB
.B3D
.RAW
.XSI
.MOD

If you know how to either save or open any of the following extensions in maya please tell me, thanks in advance. ;)

The only one I can give you any info on is .obj.

Under Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Plug-in Manager, there should be an option to load "objExport.mll"

Load that, and when you have something selected, you can go to file -> export selection, and choose .obj format.

Maya should be able to load .obj's as it is, without the afore-mentioned plug-in to be loaded.

.3ds 3DMax
.LWO Lightwave
.txt Notepad
.raw Photoshop or other digital camera softwar
.xsi in the program XSI

Well, at least I can kind of open the OBJ model, thanks :P

I just want to try and somehow get Warcraft 3 *MDX models into Maya and there is a program called Biturn which can convert the *MDX into the ones mentioned above. >.<

When I open the Obj the animations are for some reason then gone. :S

I'm not sure if animations "carry over" in .obj files.

Here's a thread concerning .obj's:

no, obj's only contain mesh information, all rigging/animation data will be lost.
