yep that is truly nasty!!!

the first thing i done was go to properties and set my xp for "classic 2000 look" as the default cow field is ugly

moocow 21-10-2002 08:46 PM

i don't like how it takes up like 1/5 of your screen with this HUGEASS clock in the sidebar.

and it probably crashes harder than your average ValuJet flight.

supposedly, the next version of windows (after this) will be subscription-based. you pay microsoft to store your files and to use their programs over a very high-speed internet...that's worse than rape.

Mein god! That is truly nasty!

This qualifies for a "When Microsoft Designers Attack" documentary.

Hell, you´d expect they would try to level themselves a bit with Apple and their OSX, but no, they just have to go for the shitty-microsoft-does-not-care-since-we´ll-bundle-the-thing-anyway-in every-frigging-computer-from-here-to-2020 attitude.

Hell no! 2000 all the way for me ... and now I´m pissed off ... shouldn´t have opened this thread, it´s a designer pisser. Hehe

moocow 21-10-2002 09:00 PM

sorry man...didn't mean to upset anyone.

goes to show that all the *good* designers are busy working for other companies.

Lol man! I´m just joking, I mean the thing is ugly already but don´t worry´, I suppose Bill likes it. :D

moocow 21-10-2002 09:13 PM

i figured...but it really is ugly enough to actually piss someone off.

What's the difference between this and XP? I'll stick with my win2k...that is until Linux gets full pro audio support...then I'm out of here ;)
