Used maya for the very basic block out of the model and imported to zBrush...this is my first time using zBrush so still trying to learn everything.

hi ozgalis. quite a few issues anatomy wise, if you're going for a lifelike human form. keep going with z though, its got quite a slow and long learning curve...i've found at least.

Hi Oz,
never tried organics myself, BUT a bloody good first start mate!! Im no expert but the femur section looks like the same length as the tib?? I just measured myself and get 0.52m sole of foot to centre of knee, then 0.40m centre of knee to hip joint. Maybe thats why it looks a little odd?? Though looking at the rear part it seems ok...hmmmm the side is the same as the front. bigger boobs too..LOL just jokin. Have you a real model to work off??? When I try my first I will be using one of my 3 sons multitude of action men. That way I can actually measure it. Try this link mate...hope it helps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitruvian_Man cheers bullet |
all i can say is pay attention to steve he seems to be the orgarnic god here but for a first organic model this is lookin really good i think zbrush can let you get way with stuff
|
Bullet - Thanks I am on break from school for a week so I am going to try and either rework this one or just do a new one. As for reference I found a few photos from google that I used but they were kind of crappy so I winged most of it. I will have to check out the link when I get home from work.
murambi - what do you mean it lets you get away with stuff? sorry for the noobness. |
its easier to fix topology issues even on a high poly model as compared to maya
