Modelling or modeling
Ok, this has been annoying some small part of my brain for a long time. I think modelling is british and modeling is american... seriously though, how do you guys spell it? I think modelling looks more correct, until I get a nice red squiggly under it.
Edit: Dang, I can't add a poll once I've posted. Ah well. |
modelling I think is right
Its also the way firefox`s auto English dictionary spells it as well. |
it changes.
English to America difference. Modeling is American, Modelling is English |
I live in America and my wife is a teacher...she said here it's Modeling.

"well id's a good day, led's go down and enna the innanet cafe and see if there are any innaresding or preddy things to buy"
that's american "well it's a good day, let's go down and enter the internet cafe and see if there are any interesting or pretty things to buy" that's english as you can see the main difference between american and english is that in american you don't usually pronounce your 't's correctly but rather replace it with an 'n' sound or a 'd' sound :p  you know i don't mean to offend anyone ;) |
The main difference to me is that we dont really use Z that often (like in vandalise) but Americans use it much more often
|
Well, modelling doesn't have a 't' or a 'z' or even an 's' in it...:p I was mostly wondering if people from great britain or elsewhere spell it modelling, even though most CG resources I see are american-based, and therefore have modeling more prevalent.

The december issue of 3D world has 'MODELLING MASTER CLASS' plastered across it. But I've found that a lot of people had the same dilemma as you
