4.5 Personal Learning Edition + DVD
 

I just got mine in the mail today. The DVD is great for people who need a raw introduction. Being somewhat familiar with Lightwave 3d, I am able to navigate roughly through the interface already. I have the earlier version of the PLE so I'll find out what's new with this one.

At $19.99, it's a great bargain. You get the Beginner's Guide, the DVD to accompany it and the PLE version 4.5...

Agreed...the PLE and DVD combo is a great starting point for beginners.....and it's not expensive so anybody can go out and buy it to learn:beer:

Does PLE 4.5 include the Fluid Effects?

I haven't seen that yet, but then I barely know what I am looking at...

swich to dynamics mode (F4) and there should be a Fluids Effects menu :)

There is not.

Also, I checked AW site and it states that fluid effects is not part of the PLE 4.5

PLE is based on maya complete. fluid effects is only in unlimited :(
Still its great that theyve got rid of the watermark in wireframe view. Nice one A|W !
