Scaling a tangent curve

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

Is it possible to scale a tangent? Basically the same whay it would be done in illustrator. Select the tangent, select the tangent handle and scale so the curve to the left or right of the tangent becomes larger or smaller.

See the attached jpg for a better example.

Thanks,
Jaz

under Edit Curves - use the Curve Edit tool

Falott,

Thanks for the info! I didn't include that the curve I'm trying to scale is a curve in the graph editor - I'm really sorry to omit this. I'm trying to make an object hit a wall, bouce back and slow down to a stop gradually. Perhaps this isn't the best way to do it.

Thanks again,
Jaz

that´s no problem too. i don´t have maya here so I can just try to explain. - in the graph editor have a look at the top. at about the middle section there you have icons for editing the curve. the icons pretty much look like some little curves.

lol, sorry for being so confuse. but read the manual about the graph editor. explanations there are more precise then mine.

cheers"!
