how do I save a material/shader for later use?
Hi there.
How do i go about saving a material/shader that I created in hypershade, to some kind of material/shader library? I see you can go file -> import, and grab the shaders from a existing .mb file, but say I have 500 textures in that file and I just want to use ONE of them in my new project? I don't want to import them ALL. just want to save the odd one, and use it again in a later project. how do I do that? :) thanks!! Adam. |
you can export a material from the hypershade. should be right under the import file item

ah ok, thanks for that.
it was the 'selected network' thing that threw me off. I'm not used to network shaders, coming from a max BG. cheers man! |
