rigging question
i been watching a rigging tutorial ..
just wondering .. can someone tell me the path in maya 7 to "parent" bones to the models? seems like there"s a lot to rigging characters |
If you just want to parent an object to a joint, select the object and then the joint and press P. If you want to bind the skin of a model to all of the joints, select the skin, then the pelvis joint and then do either a smooth or rigid bind.
As far as I know you don't parent bones to the model - the bones are just a visual guide. |
