Lens Flare
 

Hi, I'm trying to put a lens flare into my Maya scene.
Can someone explain to me how to put a lens flare into
my scene, than move it around in the scene.

Any help would be appreciated.

select the light from which you want your lens flare and open up the attribute editor. Under Light Effects, click on the chequered button of Light Glow, in the Optical FX Attributes that appear, there is a check box Lens Flare. Select that and go to the Lens Flare Attributes to adjust your lens flare.
