I seem to have some sort of fetish of modeling game controllers....so here's another one. My Gravis Gamepad that I used like 10 years ago for the PC. Model is done. Next UV-mapping.

Finished the UV-mapping. Not totally perfect, but it will do the trick. Next: sleep.

i love it so far!

cant wait for the final, one question, what maxwell material is that? just a standard white diffuse?

As usual,

very nice work.

I keep on meaning to have a play with Maxwell but I get so caught up in my animation stuff and I've been led to believe that it's more suited to stills due to it's lengthy render times.

Take it easy,

Mat.

Cant wait to see this rendered! ;)

That is good. i have one sitting in the other room and you've done it spot on. Keep it up :)

DJbLAZER 26-08-2007 10:07 AM

Thanks guys :)

Joopson: it's just a light grey lambert, AFAIK Maxwell converts a lambert to a standard diffuse, so yes.

Here's the first decent render. Still some small things to sort out.

Here's a new one. Obiously the bumpmap looks like crap. Think I'm gonna redo the UV-mapping.

gster123 06-09-2007 03:53 PM

Why do you need to re-do the UV's? Looks fine to me.

t1ck135 06-09-2007 11:17 PM

looking very nice DJbLAZER, you definitely know how to render things realistically :)

seems a little fuzzy to me though like it could do with a slight sharpening up or a play with the DOF

looking good m8.... bring the angle down more and add more dof
