your not gonna get better than a Intel Core 2 Duo and a gig ram. late 2008 should bring double power but still not more than 2gig ram.

if you need specs like these try the new atari p.c really expensive but they are awesome.

For specs like that, try Alienware (Dell has bought them out). Hey or even the Dell XPS system.

Yea but those cost a butt load :(

not tru, i have 3 gb of ram but its an alienware and just likee the previous post said, u cannt get it without payin. it cose me over 4,000 esp since its a laptop so if ur looking for ur specs ith over 2gb of ram, its not happening without payin a lot

Yeah your not gonna get those specs cheap in a laptop, Ive got the XPS M1710 (and just getting it up to 4 gig of RAM's costing £370)

3D worlds got a a review of laptops for 3d, there all over £1500/$3000, incidently the XPS won

Also to be prefectly honest if your not going to be moving it about much, which I do from uni and back every day, get a desktop, as there pretty heavy, in fact the charger for the XPS is stupidly large and heavy, probably weighs half of the laptop!

curious do you have the link of the type of laptop you speak of gster ?

gster123 23-05-2007 01:52 PM

Here you go

http://ecomm.euro.dell.com/dellstore...s&itemtype=CFG

Sorry the link dosent work correctly, if you open the link then go to notebooks you will see the XPS on the right, click that and then have a look at the XPS M1710.
