joining two pieces of geometry
 

Hi all I have a symbol I created using text which I want to attach to the chest of a human model, so that it follows the contours of the chest. Is there an easy way of doing this? I have tried moving vertices etc, but It always warps and ends up looking crap.

Alternatively I guess I could use paint effects but all the brushes seem to be freehand has anyone seen one that creates text?
