A little project I'm working on for a friend, below is the reference material he gave me to go on, but to make it black with a fro haha. Comments/Critiques? What needs improvoement? Thanks:)

lol... looks wicked. i'm not feelin the nose though.

Looks very cool and I like the nose, but maybe deform his face and his hands a little to make him look a little more plushy.

Thanks for hte replies. yah the nose i threw in last minute, since i already made a button for another model, still not sure about it. Good suggestion with the hands, they do look too rounded ;]

Yah that nose was bringing him down. So i Michael Jackson-ed it. I also sheathed his sword, I think I'll have his arm going to reach for it, maybe one eye winking at hte camera. ;]

Haha, looks just like him. Only thing is, it looks more like one of those really non articulant action figures (like the original stay puffed marshmallow man)than a plush. He looks like he's made out of plastic.

lol do u mean Quincy? "I Forgit!" haha yah his suit looks all plasitcy, im gonna make/find a good cloth shader, and then de-plastic-ize all his other parts once im done modelling

Cute... I especially like the samurai sword.

The character looks more Japanese, not Chinese (sorry to be picky) :)

Thanks z1mmnd14, I might give him that smaller sword samurai carry too. But hes actually black not asian. I made his fro bigger, and gave him a fro pic, cause cmon you just gotta. hows the modeling? Im still teaking textures
