small UI window question
 

whenever i bring up attribute editor or tool setting panel, they both come up attached to the main window like channel box and not as separate window. i tried both using the short cut and from window menu to bring up those but they always replace the channel box and take up my screen. how can i detach these two windows?

Windows -> Settings/Preferences -> Preferences and it's the Open Attribute Editor and Open Tool Settings under Interface...
