scale handles enormous
 

when i select an object and click move.scale or roate, the grab handles are huge - off the screen in many cases.
i can't remember them being like this before today - i have been messing in the tool options so i assume it's something in there...?

Just press the "-" button will reduce the size the "+" increases it................dave
