Help on explotion animation!
 

how do u make an explotion (blast example inclued in maya) start at lets say frame 30?

Keyframe the emitter/emmision, depending on whether your using particles or fluids.

erm, select the emitter and set start frame to 30? then shift the scaling keyframes over to frame start at frame 30

Think that ones, in the visor, is already keyed, just move the keys.

how do u move the keys? thanks :bow:

double click on the time bar until it turns red, then click and hold in the middle to shift them around.

You need to set the emitter start time to 30 also though the keyframes only control the scale of the explosion

I used to go to the SMU or Institute as it was then called but I left in the first year of the animation course. I now live back in Nottingham just to lazy to change my location :p
