Not Full PlayBlasts
 

My problem is that sometimes when i make a playblast it doesn't calculate the entire timeline thereby not showing the entire animation in the preview. Is there something I'm missing?

Are you using XP PRO?

If you are it just a bug in MAYA running on XP.... Try setting your display, appearance propertise, to windows classic style.

It might still do it a bit... but it works 7 out of 10 times for me now

one thing i find so so so so annoying with playblast is maya must be the active window for it to work!
so as soon as you hit the playblast button, you're not allowed to switch to another window, you must stay in maya

what i used to do is to add a compression to it, then extend the timeline a bit longer, playblast.. you will get about 95% of the total timeline....

Ya I uses a XP Pro so I will give a try to what u suggested thanks.
