Empire State Building.
 
Hi.
I plan on starting modeling a model of the tower Empire State Building. I was just wonderng what you guys thought I should keep in mind, and which tools, polygon/nurbs I should use.. Help before I begin;)

I think poly extrusion would be easiest, at least to start with. You'll have to determine whether the more intricate details, windows, cornices, etc, will be modelled or textured.

personally i like NURBS for buildings, both have pros and cons though.

I guess the bevel tool will be used alot to create the tower. Begin from a square, and make the outleds from that. (see picture) What do you guys think? How would you go about it?
