thaks man,

about behind the knees, i actually modeled in the creases, that tend to be around that area when wearing jeans

Joopson 23-06-2008 10:36 PM

there is a pretty strong crease down the chest, so you might want to check that out. Also, he isn't really emo, hes just a punk, haha.

Also, i like the model alot, may we see some wireframe shots?

thanks for the comments,

as for the crease it's because the geo are two seperate pieces,

Joopson 24-06-2008 12:53 AM

I don't see why he would do that unless the model was finished? Its best to leave the thing separate in my opinion.

This model looks good. I'm not to sure about Emo, mainly because of the red hair.
One thing that stands out to me is the width of the mouth. It seems a bit to thin compared to the references, but it could just be the picture not showing it right.
Also, what sort of scene were you planning on putting him in when you're done?

Keep up the good work :)

hi

thanks for the reply man!!!

your right my plan was to merge the two parts once i'm done,
as for the mouth you were corrct on that too, the reason i changed the mouth was due to the fact that, it's based to model characters with a neutral facial expression, as it makes facial rigging a whole lot easier,

and as you can clearly see from the pic the guy seems to have a kind of a smile

looks great man, but he doesnt really look emo... just cartoony... the hair makes him un-emo.. you should make it fall more:beer:
