Try a very glowing sphere far from your scene, an image map etc. :p (prob. not the best place to use etc, but I can't give more advice without a bit of explaination).

ok later i'll give a try first then i'll let u know what i ve done so far

when you talk about a abandoned house and the sunset will show through the window, so are you talking about the light rays being visable comeing in to the room through a window and hitting a inside wall ?

Creat a spotlight with fog terned on for it. Put it outside the room, aim it at the wall through the window. Render from inside the room. You will have to mess around with the settings of things to get it just right. But this gets you started down the right path I belive. Oh and since you said sunset.. put a little bit of orign color on the spotlight. you might have to light up the rest of the room with lower intencity lights.

Ok then I'll try it out first. I'll keep you posted

You might want to check this out too http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/tut...s_shadow.html. I think I'm will be going to make a vlume fog tut as well, but that could take a while before my site is set up :)

Hi need your help again. Is it possible to put some of the directional lights surrounds all the house to make it more dramatic look. I put in my house into sphere then from there i put some of the directional lights but somehow i didnt get done perfectly. Its make me frustrated |
Well ofcourse you can! It's your choice and you learn a great lot by playing around with the lights to get the perfect effect, but take note that, with every natural light you use, you should be able to get the best effect already. I don't see any invisible glowing light outside of my house, do you have any there? :) The sun can handle it as 1 big light on her own :).
