You want to code in c++ but you can't even figure to visit allegro's site or do a "game programming" search on google?

You should check out http://www.gamedev.net for some good game development resources. There should be links to online learning resources for game programming.

I've used Allegro in the past and if you're just starting out learning how to make games, then that sdk is for you. Unlike all other game programming sdk's which forces you to write your game code in a certain style, Allegro basically just gives you all the tools you need to make even a simple Pong game. It has all the basic functions from pixels, to sprites, to basic 3D software graphics (although you can use OpenGL alongside Allegro if you wanted), sound, timers, input and game data management. PM me for more info on how to use it.

Thats the Allegro game programmers community, its very active and show cases independent game projects made using Allegro only.
