Not bad at all.
Arms might be a little thick and maybe a little high-res, but depends on what you're going for. |
Fix up those nasty polys around the head. Other than that, nice work. Keep going.
|
Theres a few polys flying aboout that cud be cleaned up. If ur going to put the long hair on like in the reference then u can get away with making the ear 'hole' into tidy geometry too. Look for making the lines flow with muscle movement. it'll make it easy to move, low poly or not. The shape and proportions look excellent, which, so i'm told over and over again, is the key to modelling.
good stuff, keep us posted |
A nice looking start. You should be able to drop a few edges if you want to thou.

Looks a bit high poly for a low poly character. Looks good, though! What polycount are you shooting for?
|
im not gonna give myself poly limite because its a low poly dummy . im gonna use her for learning texture and animations
for low poly characters so as long that its not sub d/nurbs or polys after mesh it will be good enough for me |
?!?! So if its not going to be sub-d's nurbs or polys, what is it going to be? magic? And generally when people say something is low-poly, that means it has a LOW number of POLYs. So its necessary to have a poly limit at which u clarify which is too much.
If your going to use her for animation u mite be a bit screwed as well. Theres too many tri's (3-sided polys/faces/bits with edges around them) and they can act a little bizaare when it comes too strecthing and bending. Real fustrating, especially around joints, where u have quite a few. |
