Hi again rbrtsn!
I already saw this on "another" forum... it's looking great, as I told you before... about the thextures, see this link here: top ten tricks on texturing I think that you can find also interesting this one: stefan morrel And a cool place to get good and free textures (base and whatever):cg textures Keep up man! |
very nice bit of modeling there! it looks great, love the detail... i would say perhaps the the large bolts on the cylinder type things are a little too low poly considering the rest of it, but that's it, really good work.
i will look forward to some updates. :) |
nice!
Very 'Epic' in every use of the word. nice work. |
Hey dmacb, just checked out those links and they will definitely come in handy.
hammer.horror I would actually have to agree with you. I was thinking of actually recessing them in a bit to change the look and maybe take them up to about 12 faces. Mayaniac thanks for that cool comment, appreciate it. |
I want to get this tutorial. I have been really interested in hard surface modeling of late.
My only concern is that the tuts I have seen from 3D-Palace seem to create models with extremely out of control topologies. Which 3ds seems to tolerate but maya does not like. Also I do not like making models with polygons that have 80+ edges and stuff lol. I really like your clay renders. I have been trying to come up with a consistent setup for good maya clay renders + AO |
