Xgen crash when I try to paint maps

Hi

First of all I am totally noob in Maya but not in 3d, so with this Xgen 50% of the times when I try to paint a map to drive anything in Xgen, Maya would crash and jumps out, has it a known bug or am I doing something wrong?
