Digital Painting / Matte Painting

Dear Forum members,

I want to learn something about digital painting / matte painting but I don't know where to start. Do you have some good tutorials or resources that could help me getting started. I don't have a graphic tablett yet but I'm thinking of getting one.

You might want to look into the GNOMON archive.Though they are little expensive and may be a little hard to grasp for pure amateur.

But they are cool stuff... :D
